Worcester Technical High School was featured on this month’s cover of Worcester Business Journal’s Book of Lists. William Masiello, while at Lamoureux Pagano & Associates, was responsible as a primary project design architect for Worcester Technical High School. This 400,000 square foot vocational school has won various prestigious national and state-wide awards.

In June, President Barack Obama visited Worcester to give the commencement address to the graduating class of 2014. The new Worcester Technical High School has become a national model for tech schools. In September, principal Ms. Harrity was recognized as National High School Principal of the Year. President Obama remarked,

“The thing I really want to do is make sure that what we’ve learned here at this high school, we can lift up for the entire nation.”

Worcester Technical High School has become an icon both locally and nationally, demonstrating the positive effects of thoughtful design on a community. We are honored and proud to have been a part of Worcester Technical High School’s success story and look forward to watching the school and its graduates flourish.
