Wilson Language Training Center
- Oxford, MA
- 46,000 sf
This 46,000 s.f. facility serves as a corporate headquarters and warehouse distribution center for Wilson Language, a nationally recognized company specializing in training and programs related to the reading skills development and the treatment of reading disabilities. The design is inspired by New England vernacular architecture and seeks to integrate the natural landscape as part of the built environment. The two story masonry mass is sculpted to emphasize the bold geometric roof form echoing the traditions of masonry and timber buildings historically used on schools, universities, and other prominent structures. An open plan concept organized around a central shared resource core discreetly allows a connection between its private corporate environment with public training spaces.
"Barbara and I want to thank you and your team for your vision and long hours of work designing and supervising the building of our training center. We could not be any happier with the results. It’s been a great pleasure working with you. Thanks for making sure that we got the building we wanted!"
